Overview
How we get community-led projects 'investment ready'
Through our Incubation Program, we work with Indigenous communities to turn community priorities into well-designed, investment-ready initiatives. Together, we co-design solutions, build the evidence and impact frameworks behind them, and develop the financial approaches needed to support them.

A deliberate process, led by community
Our process
Community engagement
Indigenous communities connect with us to identify a priority or challenge that requires significant investment and is not well-served by traditional funding. We begin by building a shared understanding of the opportunity and exploring a potential partnership.
Research and data collection
Following our meeting, we conduct due diligence centered on data analysis, proven long-term solutions, and the potential for community job creation and economic growth.
Intervention co-design
In the Indigenous Solutions Lab, we partner with communities for a 1-to-6-month co-design phase. Together with leaders, experts, and officials, we build a robust theory of change and impact framework, concluding only once the community fully endorses the plan.
Building the initiative
Once the community approves impact goals, we co-build the initiative’s core by selecting providers, launching social enterprises, and designing training. We adapt proven solutions to Indigenous traditions, partnering with educational institutions to develop local capacity
and certifications.
Business case and economic modelling
Parallel to design, we build custom models to demonstrate that our initiatives generate greater economic value than their implementation costs.
